So, we went sledding in the park. It was too sticky for fast runs. Perfect, though, for thumping together a snowman (with his a loyal snow dog)!
Everyone who was out, walking through the swirl of flakes, was smiling.
Today has been a sabbath–an unexpected respite.
It felt like Robert Frost’s poem:
Dust of Snow
Has given my heart
A change of mood
And saved some part
Of a day I had rued.
